Lamp * Light

AliceAnn Alter of Lamp*Light was one of the many dark creators who graciously gave their time and effort to help raise money for Japan during the Dead Dolls of SL sponsored Broken Event. In addition to my own efforts to help, I also agreed to blog any items sent to me from the event, one of those items was from Lamp*Light.

I did not come across the notecard regarding AliceAnn's item for the event until after the fact, so to make it up I decided to seek her out and give her my apologies and blog an item from her store. I must tell you, she is kind, gracious and quite charming when I approached her and accepted my apologies for the oversight.

So, without further ado I present her dress World is Mine in white. The dress comes also in blue and pink that includes stockings, bows and shoes. A perfect outfit for any Gothic Lolita!

Relay For LIfe

I was asked to participate in Relay for Life and was happy to support such a worthy cause. I have set out two sets of shoes above ground next to the shop opening. Pictured here is Hope's Attic, a plum colored shoe with antique floral accents.

Faith's Attic is a cornflower blue with an antique floral pattern accent. The shoe includes a resize script to better accommodate size and shape.

Broken Pose: More Charity Event Previews!

Broken: Dead Dollies of SL

ImmateriA brings four items to the charity event, Wetware 2.0 is our cyber wetdream! It includes the skin, cyber arms equipped with claws, an animated electrical current mask and a lighted circuitry life board that attaches firmly to the back!

A female version is created in a different color.

One of my favorite latex outfits, Sthenno will be offered at the event in an exclusive red! The outfit includes catsuit, belt and snake-eyed brooch.

Inari is another exclusive item offered at the event, this is a sibling to Norbert our riding stick dragons! Inari includes an on/off monster breathing sound.

Across from ImmateriA you will find the artistic skin/eye creator, Aura Falta's shop Tacky Star!

Broken: Charity Event

The Dead Dolls of SL Group charity event, Broken begins Monday, April 18th and will run until Friday, April 22nd.

The event will showcase some of the best dark creators in SL and all proceeds will go to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to aid in rebuilding Japan. Donation vendors will be marked appropriately.

Guild of Gloom Presents: Sinistre Carnival!

The Guild of Gloom would like to invite you to participate in the Sinistre Carnival!

The spring carnival is sponsored by REPULSE, ImmateriA, Violet Voltaire, ::Beauty Killer::, [noctis], gilded:, and Dilly Dolls. The event will be held on May 1st - May 14th and will feature all sorts of wicked stuff, DJ events, and much much more!

Like Horrorfest, the Sinistre Carnival's many vendors will have at least one exclusive item for charity which 100% of all proceeds will go to The Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was created in memory of Sophie Lancaster, who was murdered in an horrific attack on her and her partner Robert Maltby because they were 'Goths'.

The aims and objectives of the Charity are as follows:
To create a lasting legacy to Sophie.
To provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures.
To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people from “alternative subcultures” or “Lifestyle and Dress"
We felt that Sophies charity was the perfect beneficiary for us, and this, and all future events by The Guild of Gloom will be held to help raise both funds and awareness for the Foundation.

Woe is Norbert!

Another installment of Woeful Wednesday...and what is being offered today on the "chopping block" is our version of a stick horse, Norbert!

Norbert is a wearable animated dragon stick that will give hours of twisted fun. The riding dragon stick may not be a fire breather, but Norbert does blow steam from his nostrils.

A little secret about Norbert, he is not alone....
