Horrorfest Peek-a-Boo II

As Horrorfest fast approaches, as well my wedding anniversary to Kriss on Halloween, anything that resembles Burton is a WIN for me! Cyclic Gearz of Starstruck created the Burton Wardrobe, a place where even Sally Stitches could hide (candelabra not included).

The name of the box, Sharing is Caring, comes with a color change bow and a small note simply stating "I give you my heart". In addition to the Horrorfest goodies Jacqueline Daniels of *Sticks and Stones* also has out for the charity event Under Where?

...a darling table with a sit animation that keeps you hidden under the table (actually has three animations). The retractable tablecloth is scripted...

to reveal who is hiding, BOO!

DemotiK and all their demons created Skullypunk Ankle boots in both Blood & Gloom! Here I am sitting on a well of lost wishes and I get to wear a little gloom...

some wicked detail in the Gloom ankle boots.

The boots come with a HUD that allows you to tint to match whatever skin color and also allows the wearer the option of nail color.

Every blood thirsty ghoulie needs Blood, Blood Ankle boots that is! Horrorfest opens up to the public tomorrow, Friday, October 15th!

Horrorfest Is Coming!

As I wipe the sweat from my brow, skin crackling from the Houven kicked in my face...looks wickedly painful, doesn't it? Aelle Questi of AQ Face Tattoo is just one of many creators at Horrorfest, an event I have been eagerly awaiting.
Listen and follow the screams into...
The Guild of Gloom Presents ~ HORRORFEST 2010!!!, Floyd (127, 127, 20)

Pictured above is AQ face tattoo Pure.

The Guild of Gloom would like to invite you to participate in this years Horrorfest

Horrorfest is a fortnight long horror themed event to be held the last two weeks in October showcasing all that is on the darkside of SL. It will feature all sorts of good stuff, a hunt, burlesque dancers, DJ events, and much much more

Two of our creative team were the organizers of the Zombiefest events which accumulatively raised 700,000L$ for charity and saw traffic of 50,000.

Horrorfest will be a little different. For one this event is not being run under the Hot For Zombies banner, HFZ is a purely charity based organisation and so we feel that we must make this distinction. Each vendor will have AT LEAST one Horrorfest exclusive item for a charity vendor, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this item will go to our chosen charity which is The Sophie Lancaster Foundation

http://www.sophielancasterfoundation.com/

The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was created in memory of Sophie Lancaster, who was murdered in an horrific attack on her and her partner Robert Maltby because they were 'Goths'

The aims and objectives of the Charity are as follows:
To create a lasting legacy to Sophie.
To provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures.
To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people from “alternative subcultures” or “Lifestyle and Dress"
We felt that Sophies charity was the perfect beneficiary for us, and this, and all future events by The Guild of Gloom will be held to help raise both funds and awareness for the Foundation.

As well as supporting inworld, we also encourage you to visit their RL Sophie Merchandise Website and show your support there if you wish.

You can keep up to date with our events by reading the horrorfest blog at http://horrorfestsl.blogspot.com/ or by joining one of the Guild of Gloom joiners that you will find in participating stores and at Horrorfest itself.

We look forward to eating........I mean meeting you!!

The Macabre and the Woe...

This time around the powers-that-be from the Macabre Hunt handed down the theme based on the creepy from the deep, Davy Jones...argh! With that in mind we at ImmateriA decided to have a little fun and create something very new for us, Selkie Venom, our take on a very twisted little creature that takes great joy in the demise of humankind on the high seas! The gift includes skin, fins, tail, ears, hunting belt and a few modesty shells for those who wish to keep their modest parts hidden from the fish. The skin is unisex, so the shells can also be used to "enhance" an area that may not really be there...*laughs wickedly*.

Sugar.Snap.Me created Davy Jones Locker, a brilliant little build that helps tell the story of poor Davy Jones, this is a must have for all pirate enthusiasts! Its dark and creepy, so grab your hunting spear and directional compass and come seek the Macabre gifts out and get those apples!

Davy Jones heart...

look over your shoulder, never know what one will find...hidden treasure?

Woeful Wednesday brings more goodies for all of the woe-mongers. Sugar.Snap.Me set out a little Hocus Pocus, the table includes all seen (except the rug) for only 50L!

The Tell Tale Heart is a Poe inspired build, the set includes the freshly buried grave, grave-marker, scripted oil lamp and stump (two different animations for RP). Also included is a wearable shovel and lamp with on/off script.

Kriss has set out three things for your enjoyment, the first is something for our dashing woeful gents, Steel with Style is a tintable goatee adorned with a face full of metal that also comes with three different attachment points.

Dressed to Kill is a snazzy little hat well equipped for some serious damage and only 50L!

Just in time for Halloween, here is a little package of full prim headstones that include animations and ghost lighting.
